Welcome 2017

2017 is here and it seems hard to believe another year has passed....

……6 months ago I graduated with a business degree from Cal State Fullerton, it seems like only yesterday I was moving to a new place, 450 miles away from home. I was young, nervous, and restless to experience this big world all on my own. Now 5 years later I lay in bed writing this post thinking about what is next. I’ve been take time for myself these last months. I’ve been traveling with family and celebrating my freedom from school. However, it's still weird not having to worry about homework, exams, projects and reports. In September I traveled to Oahu, Hawaii where I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Swimming in the blue, warm water was hypnotizing and I find myself occasionally looking at job opportunities there. In November I traveled to Ixtapa, Mexico with my father. We stayed at The Pacifica Resort Ixtapa, this was my first experience vacationing in Mexico. I find the country quiet beautiful and the culture is welcoming. Definietly planning a tropical vacation for 2017.

Being in new places excites me, I like the feeling of the unknown and being able to focus on what make me feel alive. I believe that experiencing art, culture, and diversity allows one to grow as a human, giving one a new prospective on life. These last couple trips have really ignited a fire in me to do what makes me happy. Just as I have grown through my years in college and living on my own I find myself at this point unsure of my path, yet I am positive what the future holds. With hard work and passion I am capable for anything.

My 2017 Goals:

Health- Exercise regularly and make healthy choices (More meal prep!).

Travel- Pick 5 place to travel to near and far.

Minimalism- Be aware of my actions and how I contribute to the world.

Save $$$

Ignite Career- Update my resume and LinkedIn, and look to building my small entertainment business.

Music- Re-learn guitar and become a DJ (Just kidding….well kinda! Lol).

Blog-Create something that reflect my personally and hobbies but also focused on promoting my professional goals.
