The Minimalist:

Ever since I was young I can remember donating my used clothes and toys, even hosting yard sales with my mom. As I grew older I find myself to be super organize and I like a clean space. You can ask my boyfriend I am always straightening up and clean out things I no longer use. Recently I watched a documentary on Netflix, The Minimalists. It really grab me, making me think about how over time society and our culture has created these bad habits where we have to purchase more and more. Most of use won’t even notice these increasing trends. This year I want to be more aware and minimize my materialistic items, by no means will I be perfect there are different levels to living a minimal lifestyle. I just wanna be aware of my consumption and how it could affect the environment.

The Minimalists

As I look about my bedroom I find areas I want to work on in the New Year from design to just cleaning up the space. First step my closet and clothes. As I go through my clothes I separate them into piles, keep, donate, throw away, and resale.  I’ve been using the Vinted app to resell some of my newer clothing I haven't worn. The app is really easy to use and I'm happy with it, I've actually sold a few items.
